All the CCASD high schools focus on creating supportive learning environments which boast small class sizes, hands-on learning and highly qualified teachers fully dedicated to helping students achieve their personal and academic goals.
Ponderosa High School curriculum focuses heavily on sustainability and community activism, and graduates from PHS have been very successful with transitions to community college, vocational school, military and the workplace. Tse’ Yaato’ has had great success as well with academic and vocational transitions with their graduates.
Criteria
Admission to Ponderosa and Tse’ Yaato’ High Schools is based on a variety of criteria that is determined by the state requirements necessary to receive a high school diploma. Our admission process will consider your transfer credits, subject areas and credits required for graduation. Your own personal motivation and dedication to attending school are attributes also considered for enrollment.
We will promise you that we will carefully look over your academic record, get a better idea of what you want to accomplish and be honest with you about what educational opportunities are available. Meet Our Teachers
Once we receive your educational records you will be contacted and if needed, set up a meeting at your school site. At that meeting the principal and or counselor will go over your summary of credits, and with your input, develop your individual academic plan.
